Who We Are

Today, collaboration is more urgent than ever. CRCI exists to help organizations tune to one another and find their shared rhythm—aligning goals, reducing duplication, and strengthening collective impact. Our mission is simple: to serve as conductors ensuring every instrument has its place, the score is clear, and the music we create together is strong enough to transform communities.

Our Story

After years of serving in nonprofits, ministries, and public systems, Charla and Orlando Hale noticed the same barriers repeating themselves. Grassroots leaders, nonprofits, and system institutions all struggled to communicate, connect, and create lasting impact together. Having played roles in different “sections” of this work, they understood how hard it was to harmonize collaboration while meeting individual goals.

The turning point came when both experienced what it felt like to be part of an orchestra where every player was aligned—not competing for the spotlight but working toward one shared composition. As Orlando said, “There has to be someone willing to conduct, not to control the music, but to ensure every voice and instrument comes together in harmony.” Out of this conviction, Centers for Restoration and Collective Impact was born.

Charla had long wrestled with the challenges of engaging the faith sector and building grassroots partnerships, while Orlando grew frustrated by the administrative burdens placed on small organizations. They realized partnerships often failed not from lack of passion, but from disconnection, red tape, and fear of formal collaboration.
